| Weapons Qualification Badges |
|
|
|
Criteria:
Awarded to clan members who have satisfied the qualification criteria, established by the training staff, for a given level of qualification with a given weapon class, during training or through performance in a scrimmage, match, or raid, as observed by a member of the training staff.
Display:
U.S. Army Marksman, Sharpshooter, or Expert Weapons Qualification Badge, as appropriate, with Qualification Bars for the appropriate weapon classes suspended centered below. A Qualification Bar for a given weapon class is displayed only beneath the badge for the highest level of qualification attained for that class. Badges which would have no qualification bars attached are not displayed. |

Sniper Badge,

|
Criteria:
Awarded to clan members who have satisfied the training standards, established by the training staff, for a given level of qualification as a sniper, either during training or through performance in a scrimmage, match, or raid, as observed by a member of the training staff.
Display:
DR Sniper Badge, 3rd class having a green border, 2nd class a silver border, and 1st class a gold border. Only the highest level badge awarded is displayed. |

| Combat Badges |
|
|
|
Critera:
Awarded to clan members for participation in scheduled league or non-league scrimmages and matches; impromptu scrims, practice scrims, or raids are not counted. A bar device bearing the number 10 is attached after a member's participation in 10 events and the number incremented by 10 for every 10 events thereafter to a maximum of 100, at which point the badge is replaced by a permanent award.
Display:
The U.S. Army Expert Infantryman's Badge with a small bar with silver numbers on a sky blue field displaying a number of 10 - 90, in increments of 10, suspended centered below or, if the clan was acting in a strictly German role, DR Close Combat Badge with a similar bar with silver numbers on a black field suspended centered below. At 100 events, the Expert Infantryman's Badge is replaced by the Combat Infantryman's Badge and the bar device removed. At 100 events where the clan was acting in a strictly German role, the DR Close Combat Badge in silver is replaced by the Close Combat Badge in gold and the bar device removed. |

| Service Stripes |
|
|
|
Criteria:
Awarded to each clan member, on or about the anniversary of their recruitment into the clan, one stripe for each year of membership in the clan. For the purposes of this award, time spent on reserve status is counted, but time spent on retired status is not. This award is retroactive to the date of formation of the 1stSF/SS by the merger of the 1stSF and 17.SS.

Displayed for clan members currently active in the Military Police.

|
|
|
Criteria:
Awarded to any clan member who represented the 1stSF/SS in any ETO league match.

| Founding Member Ribbon |

|
|
Criteria:
Awarded to any clan member who was active with the 1stSF or 17.SS clans at the time of the clan merger which formed the 1stSF/SS.

| Good Conduct Medal |
|
|
|
Criteria:
Awarded once per year, on or about the anniversary of the member's recruitment, to any active clan member who has demonstrated exemplary perfomance of his or her normal duties during the previous year. For the purposes of this award, breaks in service during the previous year totaling less than three months are not considered.

| Bronze Star |

Criteria:
May be awarded to any clan member who distinguishes himself or herself through meritiorious action during an official scrimmage, match, or raid or service to the clan beyond the scope of his or her normal duties.

|
| Silver Star |
|
|
|
Criteria:
May be awarded to any clan member who distinguishes himself or herself through exceptional action during an official scrimmage, match, raid, or service to the clan beyond the scope of his or her normal duties, meritorious to a greater degree than that for which the Bronze Star is awarded.

U.S. Army Silver Star ribbon or, when acting in a strictly German role, the DR Iron Cross 1st Class pin. |

Distinguished Service Medal |

|
Criteria:
May be awarded to any clan member who distinguishes himself or herself through exceptional service to the clan, meritorious to a greater degree than that for which the Bronze Star is awarded.

| Soldier's Medal |
|
|
|
Criteria:
May be awarded to any clan member who has a consistent record of meritorious actions during official scrimmages, matches, and raids and who has demonstrated exceptional performance and/or leadership during training, as a trainee or trainer.

| Commander's Medal 2nd Class |

Criteria:
May be awarded by the clan Commander, at the Commander's discretion, to any clan member considered deserving of special recognition for either service to the clan or actions during an official scrimmage, match, or raid, meritorious to a greater degree than that for which the Distinguished Service Medal or Silver Star are awarded or for a history of such service or actions.

May be awarded by the clan Commander, at the Commander's discretion, to any clan member considered deserving of special recognition for superior service to the clan or exceptional actions during an offical scrimmage, match, or raid, the service or actions meritorious to a degree greater than that for which the Commander's Medal 2nd Class is awarded or for a history of such service or actions.

Criteria:
May be awarded by the clan Commander, at the Commander's discretion, to any clearly designated group of clan members considered deserving of special recognition for superior service to the clan or actions during official scrimmages, matches, or raids.

| Multiple Awards |
|
|
| Multiple awards of the same decoration are indicated by the placement of oakleaf cluster devices, to a maximum of four, horizontally aligned and equally spaced on the ribbon, with the exception of the Iron Cross 1st Class, where the devices are horizontally aligned and equally spaced directly below the lowermost edge of the pin. Bronze devices indicate one award and silver devices indicate five awards, with the ribbon or pin itself counting as one award. Multiple awards in excess of 21 are not indicated. Example: Seven awards of a decoration would be indicated by one silver and one bronze device on the ribbon. |

| Ribbons are displayed in a vertical stack of rows with a maximum of 4 ribbons on each row. The order of display is determined by the order of precedence of the decorations with lowest to highest precedence going from right to left on each row and then bottom to top for the rows. |

| An example display case, rendered by Incanus, with many of the available decorations and badges is shown below. The awards are arranged in the same manner as they would be on a uniform with the upper left being the collar, the lower left the right arm, the center the left chest, and the right the left arm. |
